Rottefella Snowshoes Small is a newly developed snowshoe, created in close collaboration with the Norwegian Armed Forces Winter School. This snowshoe is now standard equipment for the Norwegian military and is available in limited quantities to the public this winter. It is ideal for those seeking a stable, robust, and highly flexible snowshoe.

The snowshoe comes in two versions: Small and Large, with the only difference being the weight capacity. Rottefella Snowshoes Small has a load capacity of 130 kg.

Designed for optimal ergonomics, the snowshoe minimizes strain on the body and features a balanced design to ensure proper posture and a stable standing position. Made from recyclable plastic, it is stiff enough to provide excellent support while remaining flexible against the terrain. The flex in the platform enhances grip and allows for a more natural and comfortable stride in uneven and sloping terrain, as well as a smooth rolling motion when descending.

The binding is designed without pressure points that could cause blisters and ensures good blood circulation in the feet. It features a sturdy heel cup for easy pull-on over the back of the boot and just two straps for quick fastening. Everything is easy to handle, even while wearing mittens. The binding accommodates shoe sizes from 37 to 47, both with and without military overboots.

The durable steel crampons are positioned at the ball of the foot and on both sides of the heel to provide optimal grip and prevent snow buildup. The heel riser can be adjusted to two positions, ensuring comfortable support for all shoe sizes and enhancing comfort when ascending or pulling a sled.
