This weekend saw the conclusion of both the nordic and biathlon world cups, with great results for racers on Rottefella bindings. Swiss Dario Cologna was crowned winner of the world cup this season, after winning the 15 km race in Swedish Falun on Sunday.
It is the third time Cologna has won the overall world cup. In the women's classification, Norwegian Marit Bjørgen won both the last race of the season, as well as the overall world cup. Polish Justyna Kowalczyk took second place, after leading the standings at several points of the season. Cologna, Bjørgen and Kowalczyk all compete on the Rottefella Xcelerator binding.
In the biathlon world cup, French Martin Fourcade won the season overall. By winning the spring on Saturday, he was already the winner of the season before the last race on Sunday. It is the first season win for Fourcade, who has used the Rottefella Xcelerator this season.
We will write a more extensive report of the entire season next week. In the meantime, we congratulate all of "our" racers with a spectacular season.
